Child and Dog-Friendly Bar - Bronzette, Geneva
Granted, most bars and restaurants in Geneva accept both children and dogs, however some are better than others for catering to children’s needs. I want to share the ones that I’ve been to that are particularly good for parents wanting to have drinks/eat with their children and be able to bring their dogs with them.
This evening, we were looking for places to meet a friend after work which would work with the two kids and dog and was told about this awesome spot!
Bronzette is open between 15th June and the 15th September and is an outdoor bar, roughly opposite the Kempinski hotel along the Quai du Mont-Blanc.
They have a good selection of food on offer, including the Hamburger Foundation Food Truck.
There are picnic benches at one end, and loungers and chairs at the other end closest to Bains des Paquis, where there is a little sand pit! We brought some toys along to let Kai play in the sandpit whilst we enjoyed a drink and some food.
There is no fencing to the lake though, and it is a drop down to the water so you do need to keep an eye on your child in case they decide to go see the ducks/boats/other distractions.
It was a lovely sunny evening so we all had a great time (okey, maybe not Luka!) before heading home for Kai’s bedtime.
A family-friendly place in the centre of town, definitely worth popping by if you want to stop for drinks and food along the lake.
Fun factor for child: 3/5 - Feed the ducks, play in the sandpit and enjoy some food!
Fun factor for dog: 1/5 - Not Luka’s idea of fun but beats staying at home alone
