Now the both of the kids are old enough (youngest is 3 years old), we are revisiting the Mont Favy forest in Les Carroz where there is an Adventure Park and Pony rides to be enjoyed. It makes for a great few hours of outing with young or slightly older children and a forest for your furry friend to enjoy himself!
We’re back with another edition of hiking with dogs this month. Due to fawning season restrictions, I opted for Bois de la Bâtie which is a leash-free zone year-round. It’s a great walk with nice views of the junction of the Arve and Rhone rivers, beaches for the dogs to swim and a nice varied walk.
The newly upgraded Bois de la Bâtie is a real gem, a must-visit on a sunny day. There’s Geneva’s biggest playground, paddling pool, animal park, dog park and buvette all in one place! Even if you live out of town, it’s worth a visit.
A great option for a day trip from Geneva or holiday in this wonderful Summer and Ski Resort, less than an hour’s drive away down the Autoroute Blanche!
A wonderful Pony Club well set up for the smallest of riders. A must-do for your horse-loving child!
This month’s edition takes place in Bois de la Bâtie, walking both sides of the Rhone which was very welcomed by the dogs on this sunny Sunday

Our yearly visit to this domaine for Caves Ouvertes, and this year it’s bigger and better for families!
This stables is well set up for accommodating your young child to have a taste of horse riding with their large string of Shetland Ponies. If your child likes animals, a great activity!
