We’re back with another edition of hiking with dogs this month. Due to fawning season restrictions, I opted for Bois de la Bâtie which is a leash-free zone year-round. It’s a great walk with nice views of the junction of the Arve and Rhone rivers, beaches for the dogs to swim and a nice varied walk.
We finally had the chance to make a stop at this wonderful park near Montreux, and happened to come over Easter break so there was an egg hunt organised. It was a fun way to spend the morning, topped off with a picnic with a view on the lakefront afterwards!
A child-friendly walk through the forest ending at the beach in Allaman in Vaud. A great walk with something for everyone!
An extremely scenic hike in Valais around Lac de Tanay. It requires stamina and strength if you have to carry your children but if you’re up for it, it’s definitely worth it!
A wonderful corner of Vaud for a outing as a family. Butterflies in the flowers, an owl hidden in a tree trunk and big fish in the pond welcome the kids for a fun day in nature!
This month’s edition of Geneva Hiking with Dogs took place in Peney Dessous on a glorious Sunny morning with some regulars at these walks!
This month’s edition of Geneva Hiking with Dogs took place in Versoix, Tanner the Greyhound’s daily walking route who sadly passed away earlier this month. May you run free over the rainbow bridge buddy!
An amazing place which offers amazing fun for the whole family! We can’t wait to go back!
If you happen to be in this area, then a good option for a walk and play park combo
This month’s edition took place in Satigny with 9 dogs, along the Nant d’Avril and through the forest, making it the perfect walk on this sunny Sunday.
This month’s edition takes place in Bois de la Bâtie, walking both sides of the Rhone which was very welcomed by the dogs on this sunny Sunday
A nice pram-friendly walk if you are visiting La Gavotte farm (or not!) along an reclaimed river full of nature
An off-leash walking zone along the stream of Nant d’Avril, near Satigny which is a great walk for your dogs and fun for the kids too! More fun for your dogs if you come outside of fawning season so they can be off the lead the whole way.
Hiking with Dogs is back! Baby Miya joins us for her first Hike with furry friends
A riverside walk in Neighbouring France, sure to please your babies both the furry and fur-less kind!
A must-do for residents and visitors alike! Take in the best of Geneva’s sights on this lakefront walk.
A huge Dog Park with its own access to the lake makes this a must visit, especially in the summer time!
