La Flaine is a ski resort connected to Les Carroz and is the highest altitude resort of the Grand Massif. It’s a very popular resort during the winter season amongst the Genevois for this reason during the winter but it also has a lot to offer during the summer season! I highly recommend spending some time in La Flaine for a fun day for the whole family.
Plainpalais Easter egg hunt!
We’re back for the Plainpalais Easter egg hunt organised by the Maison de Quartier. The kids are a little older now and had lots of fun! We started from Villa Freunder in Plainpalais at 9am, and reconvened here at 10am for breakfast.

The newly upgraded Bois de la Bâtie is a real gem, a must-visit on a sunny day. There’s Geneva’s biggest playground, paddling pool, animal park, dog park and buvette all in one place! Even if you live out of town, it’s worth a visit.

A wonderful find for all locomotive lovers! They are dog-friendly too and your fur kids can board the train that takes you up to the museum for free!
Swiss Vapeur Park- Le Bouveret, Valais
We finally had the chance to make a stop at this wonderful park near Montreux, and happened to come over Easter break so there was an egg hunt organised. It was a fun way to spend the morning, topped off with a picnic with a view on the lakefront afterwards!

The supervised Montessori inspired play room is a wonderful service too if you want to attend one of the classes here, need to get some work done without interruptions or simply enjoy a coffee in peace!
