Parc Bertrand - Dog Park and Play Park combo

This is one of our regular walks as there is something to satisfy the dog as well as the child.

Parc Bertrand is a large, family-orientated park with a sizeable play park and paddling pool. The dog park is fenced in and a fairly large size too so your four-legged babies can have a good run around.

The Play Park and Dog Park are right next to each other so easy to find both!

The Play Park has a sandpit, numerous slides and swings and some climbing structures for older kids. During the summer your child(ren) can have a splash around in the pool which is a welcome break from the heat.

It can get extremely busy here in the afternoons and weekends, so if you are coming with your dog, it will need to be tied up away from the main play area.

All in all, a great place to bring your babies for letting off some steam!

Pram-friendly: Yes, though some parts of the path in the dog park is laid with wood chip and can be a little hard to push around depending on the type of pram you have.

Water Access for dogs: There is a water fountain inside the dog park which is on during the summer months

Potable water: There is a water fountain by the sandpit which is on during the summer months

There is one fountain on the other side of the park which is on all year round if needs be.

Baby changing facilities: No

Other notes: The dog park does get extremely muddy during the winter and wet months.
