Parc Lullin, Genthod - Dog Park and Play Park combo

This is a wonderful Dog Park and Play Park combo, a 10 minute drive out of Geneva in Genthod. It’s probably the biggest Dog Park in this area with its own private access to the lake for the dogs to have a swim!

There are a number of entrances to this park, but if you are also planning to go to the Play Park then it’s best to park in the small car park on Chemin de la Gandole and walk 50 metres or so to an anonymous looking green gate to get into the Dog Park on Rue du Village.

You can also access this park via public transport by getting off at Genthod-Bellevue on the train from Geneva or Bus number ND by getting off at Genthod- Le Saugy stop.

It’s a huge Dog Park, which takes probably about 10-15 minutes to walk the whole perimeter of.

Being under a flight path and next to the train line, there are plenty of planes and trains to look at whilst walking around the dog park, which Kai enjoys very much!

At the bottom of the park, nearest to the train line and lake, you will find a metal gate which you get through to make your way through a tunnel to access the lake.

The lake front offers a potable water tap operational during the summer months, a compost toilet and some BBQ grills and most impressively, it’s own access point for the dogs to swim!

Dogs are not allowed on the pontoon though and need to be leashed during the summer months in this area.

Once the dog has had a sufficient run around and burnt off some energy, you can head to the play park for the kids to get their fun on.

The play park is situated up Chemin de la Gandole on the corner of Route de Valavran. It’s about an 150 metre walk from the dog park to the play park.

The play park looks to be fairly new, and probably better for slightly older kids, but my almost 2 year-old enjoys going on the slide and swings here. There is even a small zip line! The highlight though is definitely the trampoline built into the ground, which Kai can’t get enough of!

If you so wish, there is also a restaurant/cafe in Genthod village which you could stop by for a coffee or a meal.

All in all, this dog park-play park combo is a great one, sure to satisfy both your furry and fur-less babies!
